Why are you building this?
Friend circles and professional networks are great places to connect with people who share your interests. We want to facilitate many more meaningful connections, whether that's friendships, collaborations, or relationships.
Is this a dating app?
It can be, but it doesn't have to be. You control what you're open to: dating, friendship, collaboration, or custom options. If you don't select dating, you won't get any dating matches.
Can't people just reach out directly?
Absolutely, and we encourage respectful and appropriate expressions of interest, but sometimes it's not appropriate to ask, or people feel hesitant for various reasons. And sometimes you just need a reminder that someone exists in your network.
Is it free?
Yes. We encourage donations after you get value, from matches or otherwise, to help us cover costs and improve the app.
Do we really need another app?
None of the other apps support expressing interest in a risk-free and non-ambiguous way. Most apps make money from subscriptions, not successful matches, so they're designed to keep you scrolling or swiping. We only succeed when you actually connect with people, so our incentives are aligned with yours. We are not optimizing for "user engagement", but the opposite. We want you to spend as little time as possible on the app, and more time connecting with people in person.
How does contact syncing work?
We start with Google contacts, with plans to add Apple Contacts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other networks. You'll only see contacts who are also using the app.
What about privacy?
